Investing for Impact

The Foundation continues to support the impact investment fund, Te Pae ki te Rangi, which we helped establish in 2021. The fund is capably managed by Soul Capital based in Auckland and continues to actively seek investments that align to our granting focus areas.

The fund has now deployed approximately $20.8m across 16 investments as at 31 March 2025, and has a strong pipeline for the remainder of 2025.

A recent highlight was seeing whānau move into new affordable rental housing in Whangārei, in a development financed by the fund. The Whangārei housing project is an investment grounded in a partnership model that centres community aspirations and shared governance.
